Zion Hope Church participates in God’s plan for meeting needs through the development of various ministries that help both our congregation and others in the community. There are many opportunities for you to share your gifts, talent and time. Please review the list of ministries and be learn more about where God may want you to serve.

Agape Singles Ministry

Encourages singles to grow strong in their faith as they live fulfilled single lives, through providing an atmosphere of fellowship, support and mutual concern.

Audio Ministry

Enhances worship services and special events by providing audio & technical support.

Bread of Life Ministry

Provides and prepares food for the church and community.

CANA Married Couples

Provides an opportunity for married couples to grow closer to Christ and each other through fellowship, retreats, and other social events.

Christian Education

This is the educational arm of the church, which includes Sunday School, Nursery, Bible Study, and New Membership class.

College Ministry

Offers support and encouragement to college students, while also assisting them in the pursuit of education & encouraging them to fully develop their potential.

Congregational Care

Members of this ministry will be vessels of comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-11) and encourage people to hold onto God, despite what could have a hold on them (Romans 8:28).

Connection Point Ministry

Contacts new members and welcomes them to the church.

Deacons

Meets the needs of the congregation and provides support for the pastor.

Facility/Maintenance Ministry

Maintains care of the church building and grounds.

Finance Ministry

Manages the finances of the church and exercises good stewardship.

Fine Arts Ministry

Provides Zion Hope and the community with spiritual and entertaining events through utilizing various artistic forms.

Generations of Grace Dance Ministry

Uses the gift of dance to minister during worship services and special events (ages 9 & up).

Greeters

Provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for all who enter the doors of Zion Hope.

Health & Wellness Ministry

Creates various outlets to encourage and support health and wellness of the spirit, mind, and body.

Men of Valor

Provides men with opportunities for spiritual growth through various events and activities, while also focusing on building a strong Christian brotherhood.

Missionary Ministry

Serves Zion Hope and the community through various outreach efforts and initiatives, including the food pantry.

Music Ministry

Ministry of instruments comprised of songs during worship services and special events.

Nursery

Offered during worship services and evening bible study, the nursery provides a safe and secure environment for children to learn and grow through playing (ages infant to 4 years of age).

Power in Prayer (PIP)

Provides intercessory prayer for the pastor, Zion Hope, and the community (James 5:16)

Prison Ministry

Ministers to those who are incarcerated.

Shepherd’s Care

Provides support and encouragement to the pastor and his family.

Social Media Ministry

Uses social media platforms to share the good news and share Zion Hope’s efforts to minister to the community.

Stitches of Praise

Supports Zion Hope’s outreach initiatives through various sewing projects.

TEENS (13-18)

Partners with parents and guardians in the spiritual, social and academic well-being of teens (ages 13-18) to help them understand and recognize the importance of knowing Christ, while equipping them to be tomorrow’s leaders.

Usher Ministries (Adult and Junior)

Greets, welcomes, and ushers’ guests at Zion Hope with a friendly and warm disposition.

Video Ministry

Enhances worship services and special events by providing video and video technical support.

Women of Virtue

Encourage women with opportunities for spiritual growth through various events and activities, while also focusing on building a strong Christian sisterhood.

Youth Ministry (AGES 5-12)

Partners with parents and guardians in the spiritual, social, and academic well-being of children (ages 5-12) to help them understand and recognize the importance of knowing Christ, while equipping them to be tomorrow’s leaders.

Young Adult Ministry (YAM)
