HOW DO I JOIN THE ZION HOPE CHURCH FAMILY?
Individuals can join Zion Hope by coming down to the altar as the Pastor extends an invitation during the morning worship service. You will be escorted to our intake room to complete the proper enrollment materials.
WHAT IS SALVATION?
Salvation is deliverance from the guilt and penalty of your sins by accepting Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. You receive deliverance from your sins by doing the following:
“Admit that you have made mistakes.” Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
“Agree that you pay a price.” Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
“Acknowledge God’s love for you.” Romans 5:8 – But, God demonstrated His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
“Accept salvation by faith.” Romans 10:9 – That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord,and will believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. – Romans 10:13
CAN I LOSE MY SALVATION?
No. Salvation is given to you through God’s grace, not your actions. It is a gift that cannot be taken away.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9
WHAT DO I DO NOW THAT I AM SAVED?
Christianity is not just about coming to church on Sunday morning. Sunday morning worship is a very important part of your walk with Christ. Being Christian is about your personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. By developing a personal relationship with Christ, you will grow and become more like Christ in your actions, attitude, conduct and character.
